Rahat Kapur is a bright, bubbly and evidently gorgeous young writer in her early 20s with a penchant for Jane Austenesque romances. She has written extensively on the trials and tribulations of being a girl in the 21st Century and has been published in several publications including The Age and Monash Weekly newspapers in Melbourne, Australia. When Rahat is not searching for her real-life Mr. Darcy, she works as a Strategy Consultant in a multinational Consulting firm, a job that allows her to meet all kinds of men and still date the wrong ones. Her three goals in life are to move to New York city and become the next Carrie Bradshaw, own a pair of $5,000 Christian Louboutins and to find a guy who is both incredibly intelligent and stunningly good-looking. That’s not too much to ask is it? She doesn’t think so either.
